Ronnie Shalev

A native Texan, Dr. Shalev received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, and completed her residency training at Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After residency, she lived and practiced in New York City for several years before returning home to Texas to continue her career in emergency medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr. Shalev has cared for patients across the full spectrum of emergency medicine, from minor illnesses and injuries to complex, time-sensitive medical emergencies. She believes patients deserve high-quality, compassionate care in an environment where they feel heard, respected, and confident in the treatment they receive. One of the things she values most about Advance ER is the ability to combine the capabilities of an emergency department with a more personal and patient-focused experience.

Dr. Shalev is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish allowing her to communicate directly with and care for patients from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys resistance training, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two children. She is especially grateful to be caring for patients in the Dallas community.
